Character Sheet Export to PDF?

Nov 10, 2008 16:15:48 I haven't found a way yet to export the character sheet to a PDF. (Other than printing it to the full version of Acrobat).

Since there's lots of cases where one might want to do that (such as posting a PC on the internet for people without the tool to look at, or as part of a publication), I'm wondering if I'm missing something?

Nov 10, 2008 16:20:02 Was going to mention using a program that allows you to set up an adobe printer device...it converts whatever you 'print' to it to a pdf file. You can find it online somewhere for free. Of course, the current save file is specific to Char Builder...so it might not help yet.

Nov 10, 2008 16:26:07 I think printing to some kind of free pdf printer program is your best bet right now.

I will put this on my list of things to look into though.

Nov 10, 2008 16:39:41 I happen to have the full version of Acrobat, and was able to print it to PDF that way:

Weirdly though, it printed each page of the character sheet as a separate print job, so it produced three PDFs that I had to manually combine. Odd....

Nov 10, 2008 16:50:21 Install a PDF writer like http://www.pdf995.com/ or something similar

You computer thinks its a normal printer, so it will work with all applications.

Nov 10, 2008 23:58:48 I have acrobat pro version 8 and had the same issue with the print to pdf function creating a new pdf file for each page when I printed the sheet to pdf. It would be nice if the program could print into one pdf file so I don't have to manually combine the files after I print them.
