CharacterBuilder will not save?!?!

Apr 07, 2010 20:28:38 This never happened before...but all of a sudden, I cannot save with the CharacterBuilder, period. I have a valid subscription, so it isn't that.

I'm running windows 7, 64bit OS. The last thing I installed was a Wacom Cintiq tablet. I don't think this is the issue, as I have it installed on my laptop and the tablet and character builder don't conflict there.

Basically when I press Save Character in the builder, or on the Character Sheet, nothing whatsoever happens. The buttons click, but no popup. I have reset the save directories, to no avail.

Anyone else had this issue?

note: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, re-patched... same thing.

Apr 08, 2010 8:13:13 I just checked on my local version (Windows XP, latest service pack, not 64 bit) and everything is saving fine. You should contact Customer Support to see if they can assist you.

Apr 08, 2010 13:17:06 That was going to be my suggestion. I know that Windows 7 is a fair bit stricter with read/write permissions. Is is possible that the level of access that you are using day-to-day is not sufficient to allow the CB to save to your HD?
