Is there a way to see feats/paragon paths that you don't meet the prerequisites for?  For example if I was a sorcerer with 12 dex and just hit level 8, I have an ability score point to assign.  Dual implement spellcasting is a great feat, but there is no way to know about it from the character builder.

Click on the Houserule icon in the upper right of the list of feats/etc, select 'view illegal elements'.

I do wish there was something a bit more granular than that, since the full list of all feats is a bit too long to be useful.

Agreed. Being able to check, for example, skills, ability scores, level, class separately instead of all or nothing would be a huge improvement

I agree that SEEING what's coming up could be very useful.  The only problem is, there's a slew of available feats to choose from and it's difficult to pinpoint what will happen when you meet what prerequisite.  I have a few suggestions, but I'm not 100% certain how they would be implemented:

1)  When leveling up and assigning ability scores, have either a tooltip box or a label dictate what kind of changes occur once the score is assigned (aka, if you choose intelligence and it suddenly hits 13, it should display SOMEWHERE on the page that you have gained access to new feats and possibly list them--See suggestion 3 for an alternative).

2)  Bold ability scores to indicate that new options will open up with a single point (within the drop-down combo box would probably be best).

3)  Under the feats section, create a new tree for "Just Opened Up This Level Because of Your Ability Score Choice" or something along those lines.  A shorter name would be required ;).  They could also be placed under the Suggestions tree, but I feel that the two should be separate enough to require their own trees.

Eh, it's all I can think of at this time.  I'm sure the above suggestions could apply to suddenly gaining skill training in something, opening up new powers or such, but powers are FAR more numerous in my opinion.  Just something to think about.
