Class/Path/Destiny features unreadable

My class/path/destiny features all attempt to use just a single line only. There is no "wrap text" option when I attempt to customize the panel.

Race features and feats which include more than one line of text display the full text summary so I know the full effect.

Example:

"Improved Majestic Word - Target of majestic word gains
temporary hp"

The words "temporary hp" wrap to a second line below the first.

In my class/path/destiny features panel, here are examples of some of the text I'm getting. As you can see, some of them are even cut off in mid-word:

"Bardic Training - Gain Ritual Caster feat and perform one bar"
"Virtue of Valor - When an ally within 10 squares bloodies"
"Multiclass Versatility - Can choose class-specific multiclass fe"
"Song of Rest - At end of short rest, you and each ally spendin"

As you can see, this is annoying because now the only way to know the effect is to look up each of these in the rulebook. And if I have to do that for each one, what's the point of having a character sheet at all?

As mentioned before, both Race Features and Feats use a similar format, but wrap text for multi-line descriptions so that I can read the full description.

I have tried both landscape and portrait layouts to see if I could get a longer (from left-to-right) "Class/Path/Destiny Features" section, I have tried putting it on new pages, blank pages, etc. Nothing has helped. Nor can I find any way to tell the program to deliberately wrap text or resize the panel.

You can resize the columns of the character sheets. To do so, unlock the panels and click in the space between columns.

Why are my other panels displaying correctly in their original size and this one is not?

EDIT:

I've tried this, I have to render an adjacent column useless to be able to read this text. To test this, I resized column three in portrait to less than a quarter inch, and there are STILL class/path/destiny features that are unreadable.

Amusingly enough, my Feats panel from the third column still at least ATTEMPTS to wrap text like so:

R
it
u
al
C
a
st
e
r
-
M
a

(You get the idea.)

Furthermore, each attempt to edit the sheet's layout, add a page, delete a page, add panels, is creating duplicate/triplicate/thousands of power cards as a result; there's a whole other thread on this topic.

This fix is worse than the problem in more ways than one.

So given the above advice to resize a column, I decided that a non-solution to getting this info onto the char sheet, not the way it should be (among other data of its kind) but at LEAST in my printout was to create a whole new page.

And then add this panel alone and stretch it all the way across.

It's an incredible waste of space; there are only 10 lines of text to occupy a FULL PAGE which is completely unneeded otherwise.

But this won't even work.

When you go to:

Layout > Add Panel > Race/Class Features,

it adds my race features only.

I have tried this multiple times and I end up with my racial features only, repeatedly. This is in spite of the fact that my race features (as mentioned above) are wrapping their text correctly. I don't need extra copies of the race features, I can read them fine.

I can locate no way to add my "Class/Path/Destiny Features" as a new panel entirely.

EDIT: Furthermore, "drag and drop" doesn't work because unlike other applications, there is no way to scroll through the document when you're dragging an item.

EDIT AGAIN:

Well even dragging it bit by bit all the way down to the blank page (which completely fracked the rest of my layout en route) and resizing the column didn't help.

THE MAXIMUM RESIZE for a column is apparently half a page in landscape, and I STILL have text cut off from this panel.

I had a similar problem, and I added a blank page and moved a few panels to it. Under layout, you can choose "Add Blank Portrait Page" and drag the panel down to it then widen it as much as needed. I did that for a few panels that I wanted to make wider than the base build.

I had a similar problem, and I added a blank page and moved a few panels to it. Under layout, you can choose "Add Blank Portrait Page" and drag the panel down to it then widen it as much as needed. I did that for a few panels that I wanted to make wider than the base build.

This doesn't even CLOSE to work.

For example, the panel I need to add is "CLASS/PATH/DESTINY FEATURES."

First:

There is NO OPTION to add such a panel to a new page. The only panel you can add is "RACE/CLASS FEATURES", and when I try this, I get RACIAL features ONLY.

EDIT: Although that's a seperate problem all its own, I discovered it attempting to fix this. It IS still possible to drag the original "Class/path/destiny" features down to another page, but since the program won't scroll in drag-and-drop mode, I had to displace a lot of other things to get there. And then I still ran into the other problem detailed below.

Second:

I still can't make the columns wide enough. In portrait form, the maximum allowed width is 2/3rds of the page, or two (normal) columns wide. In landscape form, the maximum allowed width is half the page, or...still two columns.

Even with these ridiculously long panels on their own pages, I have text that won't wrap and is cut off.

Example:
Virtue of Valor - When an ally within 10 squares bloodies or reduces a foe to 0 hp, ally gains 1 + your Con mod temporar

That's it, end of text. Not only cut off midsentence, but mid-WORD. No idea (until I put the rule on a self-made power card) what other ramifications for the rule were without looking it up each time in the PHB or PHB2...which very much defeats the purpose of having a character sheet.

Thank you for at least trying to help.

I didn't mean to add a new Class/Path/Destiny Features panel. I meant you should add an extra page and move your existing panel to it then widen the panel as far as you need.

As for the text not fitting issue, you can right-click the panel to edit the notes and put them in a more condensed form so they fit. I did this with some of the notes to add some personal touches (roleplay mostly) to fit my characters.

Hope this helps. =/

It amazes me that this was an issue reported over a year ago, and WotC still hasn't fixed it. Make it wrap like the Feats panel. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard, guys.

Agreed, these columns need to wrap properly.

But what happens when there is so much crap that it doesn't fit in the box any more?  You still have to move or resize it.  It really isn't that big a deal, shrink your languages box and don't widen but lengthen the box, and yes I realize this is an old issue and hopefully most of you figured this out by now.

Any word on why this fix is taking so long?
