I can see it being helpful, since they tend to have more exotic attacks, but I cannot find the rule for this in the errata. Am I missing something? |

Unless a specific monster gets errata or an update of some kind, the data in the MB needs to reflect the monster exactly as it is printed in the original source. I don't think anyone can resonably say they want the MB to start mucking around with the numbers "automatically". While the old MB has those "reset" buttons, what it really needs is a button that says "update to MM3 errata math". |

I use the cheat sheet at slyflourish.com/master_dm_sheet.pdf I don't even bother with the numbers generated by the builder because even with the MM3 updates you still have to tweak the numbers based on your group. If everyone in your group has resist 10 fire and you throw a themed encounter at them where all the damage is fire, then the encounter will be a pushover/joke. Resist should have been limited to about 5 at level 30 and even then it's probably still too much based on monsters doing average damage of level + 8. 5/38 = 13.2% resist vs what we have now of 15/38 = 39.5% |
