| #1guest742363515Mar 03, 2010 2:52:56 | Turn undead is now showing with a line through it in the builder, neither it or Divine Fortune show up on the Power Card sheet. This is on a level 6 pure cleric. A sample, level 1 cleric, has everything showing up properly in the builder and on the power card sheet. I can not see any reason for it to be crossed out and the builder does not give any hints. Unselecting it and reselecting it or changing it for Healer's Mercy does not help either as Healer's Mercy also ends up with a line through it. Have the gods forsaken my poor cleric? On a side note the builder takes much longer to switch between characters, up from 4-5 seconds to 30-40 seconds.. EDIT: I played with it a bit more and clerics lose their channel divinity abilities when they hit 2nd level now. A level 1 cleric has access to the channel divinity powers, as soon as you put your cleric at level 2 or higher Turn Undead gets crossed out and you lose the class granted channel divinity powers. You will keep the CD abilities you get from feats you have taken though. This is also affecting Avengers, they lose their Divine Guidance power as soon as they tick over to level 2. I suspect it affects all of the divine classes but I'm not sure what they all get. EDIT2: Confirmed that Invokers also lose Rebuke Undead. Although my Elf Wrath Inkover still has Armor of Wrath. |
| #2daedalus25Mar 03, 2010 8:27:12 | I am also having this problem. My level 4 cleric before the update had his Healer's Mercy Channel Divinity; but after the latest update there's a line through the name, and the power doesn't show up on my character sheet. |
| #3thoresMar 03, 2010 8:57:03 | Ditto these guys, my Level 6 Cleric doesn't have Healer's Mercy anymore. |
| #4semifamousMar 03, 2010 10:00:10 | I came here to report the same thing. Hopefully we can get an update to fix this before April, but we'll see, I guess. As it is now, I have to add the power again as a houseruled power in order to get the power card to show up for printing. |
| #5caliphalestrianMar 03, 2010 10:35:12 | I'll add my name to the list of people experiencing this problem. |
| #6dm_ravenMar 03, 2010 11:33:41 | Hey all, Yeah it looks like the cleric is having problems. I'll go ahead and forward this incident on to the team. Let me know if you see anything else. Thanks for the heads up! Raven |
| #7kymriMar 03, 2010 12:11:56 | For what it's worth, the Paladin CD powers aren't showing up either! |
| #8dm_ravenMar 03, 2010 12:20:38 | Kymri, They seem alright to me, can you give me a bit more info and some repro steps for your issue? |
| #9bsb150Mar 03, 2010 13:21:23 | Same with the other Divine classes. (see below) |
| #10kymriMar 03, 2010 14:29:38 | Kymri, Certainly! Both saved versions of my paladin (one at level 5, and the other built out to level 30) appear to no longer have the powers Divine Strength and Divine Mettle. (I checked, and feat based CD powers like Power of the Sun still appear.) If I make a new paladin at level 1, Divine Strength and Mettle are present. They vanish as soon as I set the character to level 2. Hope that helps! |
| #11seomusMar 03, 2010 14:40:01 | My Invoker lost Rebuke Undead but kept Armor of Wrath. |
| #12osirideanxMar 03, 2010 16:12:09 | having the same issue with healer's mercy on my lvl 2 cleric |
| #13skalgrimmMar 03, 2010 19:50:14 | Ditto this, our Cleric lost both Turn Undead and Divine Fortune. Even the feats which modified these were affected, showing up as Houseruled. |
| #14Kaviyd3Mar 03, 2010 21:23:40 | I reproduced that problem with a single classed cleric as well. Curiously, my hybrid cleric!ranger who acquired Hybrid Talent (Channel Divinity) at 2nd level did NOT have that problem. |
| #15bhasidMar 03, 2010 21:33:11 | Same here. All single class Divine classes loose their DC powers after level 1, but Hybrids do not. |
| #16DevoDogMar 03, 2010 21:56:14 | Add me to the list. Just checked our party's level 13 Cleric and no more CD powers. |
| #17TunedMar 04, 2010 15:46:08 | My Paladin has lost his CD's, too, which has meant in turn that I can't pick Crusading Wrath as a feat, as well ![]() |
| #18randomjoebotMar 04, 2010 19:29:16 | Yes, we're experiencing the same thing. This is just since the 3/3/10 update. We're building an all-divine party, and those of us who built our characters before the update (and printed them) are fine, but anyone who updates loses those powers. However, I'm finding that the Channel Divinity: Oath of Urgency that I added (to my Avenger), as a FEAT, is still there. The bug (if that's what it is) seems to affect the free powers (like Abjure Undead for my Avenger) and chosen powers (like Healer's Mercy for our Cleric), but not powers derived from feats. Seth |
| #19VaultDwellerMar 05, 2010 13:59:57 | So, it seems pretty unanimous that this is really busted? Perhaps we'll be getting a fix soon and not having to wait a month for it? |
| #20retsej_esiwMar 05, 2010 14:59:28 | I have the same issue. Any character above level 1 seems to lose all channel divinity powers, expect those granted by versatile channeler |
| #21endureilMar 06, 2010 14:19:52 | +1 My cleric losing chanell divinity as soon as I advance them past level 1. |
| #22SamursusMar 06, 2010 18:01:44 | Same issue, L2 Cleric has Healer's Mercy like this and it doesn't show up in char sheet or power cards. After the new update. |
| #23timhoustonMar 06, 2010 20:57:26 | Same |
| #24sacrilegiousMar 06, 2010 23:51:58 | also having the strikethrough for Channel Divinity spells after the 3/3/10 update |
| #25pauln6Mar 07, 2010 8:53:38 | You can add channel divinity powers back in as custom elements for now. |
| #26jnevinsMar 07, 2010 18:56:13 | Yep, me too. Just updated to the 3/3 upgrade to see if there were any last minute updates to apply to my level 12 Cleric before gaming and whammo... no Healer's Mercy. Luckily already printed out my character sheet and all cards, but will be a problem if I level to 13th before the next update... Unless they do a quick fix update to resolve this sort of major issue for Divine characters (although I suppose it can be fixed with a house rule). Add me to the list. |
| #27Los_GrakMar 08, 2010 0:11:18 | You can add channel divinity powers back in as custom elements for now. I'm unfamiliar with how to do this. Can you explain? My level 6 Paladin (pure) and level 3 Cleric (pure) have both lost their Channel Divinity class features on the character sheet. My Cleric has a strikethrough on her Healer's Mercy power. |
| #28TMcCambleyMar 08, 2010 11:56:51 | OK I don't have the program open in front of me, but essentially load your character up in the Character Builder and go to the Powers tab under Build. |
| #29WarunsunMar 09, 2010 16:54:13 | Any ETA on the Hot Fix for this problem? I have been running the official Orcus campaign in its entirety and it is really unfortunate for Divine Channel Divinity powers to disappear now that they are playing through the final adventure with both a Cleric and Paladin in the group. |
| #30cathakMar 11, 2010 11:45:25 | Problem occurs here too. |
| #31Hibiki54Mar 11, 2010 13:15:09 | I also have this problem. Get to work WotC!! A temp fix is to select the power using the house rules button. |
| #32dm_ravenMar 11, 2010 18:06:45 | The patch today should address the Channel Divinity issue. |
| #33guest742363515Mar 12, 2010 5:27:25 | I can confirm that the cards are back for Clerics. No more line though Turn Undead. Same for Avengers. And Invokers. And on a test Paladin. |
