A player in my games had a Cleric built, and upon loading her it turned her into a Templar and removed all of her feats. Cleric powers still show up in the compendium as Cleric powers. So do feats with the Cleric requirement. You can even create a hybrid Cleric in the character builder if you choose hybrid, but Cleric itself is gone. I searched the forums and did not see a previous mention of this, and I tried to submit a bug report the link appears broken. |

The Warpriest and the Templar of two subclasses of the Cleric. This question was answered on 4/18/11 in the Rule of Three. Why is the Player’s Handbook fighter now referred to as the weaponmaster, and the warlord as the marshal? |

There is very little in Essentials that is a truly bad idea, and quite a lot that might be a good idea... but IMHO several things in it needed to be introduced at the start of a new edition, not something crammed into the middle of the life-cycle of an existing edtion. The class-subclass-build structure, if they stay with it, is one of those things. |
| #6TolanisSep 06, 2011 6:36:26 | well seems its not same classes... |
| #7MalakLightfootSep 06, 2011 13:37:04 | well seems its not same classes... You have made this claim elsewhere. In the face of the fact that it is the same class, perhaps you could tell us why you think it is not (provide some detail please). Some of the powers have received errata, but that does not "not the same class" make, otherwise the Fighter would have ceased to be the Fighter when Cleave was errata'd in fall of 2008 (IIRC). |
