This may not sound as a proper "technical issue" but being a Mac user i was wondering if there is any chance on having official mac osx compatible versions of the character builder + the other tools available on this site in the future...

There are no known official plans for supporting any non-Windows operating systems.

I see.. though i think it is a pity.. id rather bring my small lighter macbook around to games rather than my other bulky 2x heavier dell pc..

I don't own a mac myself, but couldn't you guys virtualise with virtual box (a free app) or VMware (not free, but much better)

With the hopes that WotC actually reads this, I too would like a Mac version. However, it does run fine in Vista on my Mac, I just hate booting to Vista...

the main problem is that all the DDI aps use WPF, even if .net is ported, there is no guarantee that the apps will work.

I use Parallels and Windows XP on my MacBook to run the character builder. I would of course prefer a native version, but this works well enough.
