| #1Bargle0Mar 15, 2011 21:30:27 | The latest update to the Compendium is broken for me. I'm using Firefox 4.0RC on MacOS X 10.5.8. Basically, the interface is broken, but individual elements still appear fine. For instance, I can't search for "Deva" in the Compendium, but clicking on the "Deva" link from the CB works. The Compendium interface loads with the "Filters:" pane messed up. Basically, the "Sources" element is rendered in the upper left hand corner of the pane, overlaying the "Filters" title. Selecting a category in the "Search:" element has no effect. Searches hang forever. Is anyone else having trouble? I'm reporting this to CS right now, but I was wondering if I am the only one. EDIT: Fixed the browser name. |
| #2CaericMar 15, 2011 22:10:53 | I am having a similar problem. I'm using Firefox 4.0 Beta 11 on 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. Quite a different side of the spectrum. |
| #3baksiMar 15, 2011 23:54:05 | Same issue here, Chrome 10.0 on Windows 7. |
| #4DareusMar 16, 2011 1:01:13 | Works for me on Firefox 3.6.15 |
| #5scaramoucheMar 16, 2011 2:03:57 | Chrome, Windows 7, having the same issue(s). |
| #6mrmythMar 16, 2011 8:40:08 | I had this briefly happen in IE 7, but it went away as soon as I refreshed the page. |
| #7abyssaldeathMar 16, 2011 10:50:15 | Works fine for me and I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. My browzer is Chome 10. Maybe they fixed the issue? |
| #8Bargle0Mar 16, 2011 12:03:50 | Yeah, it's working for me now. |

| #10unknown_blitzMar 17, 2011 17:03:46 | Hey all, I just tried to use the compendium and am getting the same error as the OP. Using Chrome here. -Blitz |

| #12Bargle0Mar 17, 2011 17:07:34 | Hey all, My problems went away. Try to force a reload. If that doesn't work, contact Customer Service. |
| #13unknown_blitzMar 17, 2011 17:09:30 | Weird, that fix worked. When I closed the browser, relaunched, and went back and tried it was still messed up, but refreshing works...go figure. Thanks for the information. -Blitz |
| #14unknown_blitzMar 17, 2011 18:19:02 | Ok, one more problem I've found that is not fixed with a refresh. If you search for Arcana, then go to the Glossary section and click on Arcana, it links to the entry for the term "Brute". Anyone else noticed this problem or similar problems? -Blitz |
| #15kalliusMar 18, 2011 14:17:02 | Looking up Arcana worked fine for me. One thing I did notice recently, though, is that some of the link numbers changed, which may be along the lines of the problem you're having. I sent an email to a friend intending to link to Giant Lizard (Draft) and Giant Lizard (Riding) and these were the links: www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/it... www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/it... but as you can see....they're not for any sort of creature now! That seems to be horrible design, restricting users from linking, but it happened. Strangest part is that only some of the numbers changed; an older email I sent had tons of links to mount monsters, including the Giant Lizard, Riding ( http://www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/monster.aspx?id=1067 ) and those links all work fine, still. Keep in mind those are Monster entries, not Item entries so maybe they work differently. |
