Picture this: All lined up, 7 people good to go, DM all prepared with compendium ready at hand, all the monsters needed were previously recorded by name for fast look up, and then *BAM* the compendium keeps refusing to service me That means that from having all kinds of special Dragon magazine goblins and Dragon magazine kobolds, they were all default gobbos and kobolds.I work in IT, so I know that sometimes things just break down, but I would really like a "D&D tools status page" where I can see that somebody has scheduled maintenance of a system, a system has a problem, and it is expected to be fixed within minutes etc. Messages you'd normally expect from an company delivering IT services. Right now I'm a D&DI subscriber until 2011, so I hope this will get better This isn't a complaint or anything, I would just like to be informed (perhaps this information is readily available somewhere, but I just haven't been able to locate it.. that may be the case).Søren |

Also put the maintenance on a calendar somewhere, and get rid of the default 404 screen that says your performing maintenance, that's just lying. Instead have a script that sends an email to the IT department with the pertinent data (what page they were trying to access, what browser, what time it is etc..etc..) |
