Mar 23, 2009 20:32:16 I wanted to review all the heoic tier feats that my characters might be eligible for so I went to the compendium. Unfortunately, it only lists the name of the feat and its tier and its original source. I was hoping it would have the abreviated description of the feat as well as the prerequisites.
I'm just mentioning this because it is something that other people may have encountered and would be a way the compendium could be improved to be mpore useful.

Maybe I'm just doing it wrong and there is a way to get the disply I'm looking for. Assistance would be appreciated.

What I will have to do is access the info through the CG but that is putsy because I will have to do a separate search for each character.

Mar 23, 2009 20:53:33 I wanted to get a list of all heroic tier feats for my characters in my campaign that were available besides what they have in their PHBs (obviously sorting for race and class and FR). If they saw any that looked interesting to them then I could go back and print out the full description.

Mar 23, 2009 21:01:27 I am getting the descriptions when I click on the feat.

The update that is happening tomorrow should help, as I believe that it will be adding a new filter to the Feats page: Category (Heroic, Paragon, Epic, Other).

Mar 23, 2009 21:35:25 Yes, but there are over 500 of them and that is a very time consuming thing, it would be more useful if there were a brief description or even just a prerequisite. Yes, the information is there and it is possible to access it, I just wish it were more accessible.

BTW- Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. I do appreciate your efforts.

I just saw the note about the updates tomorrow, I'll check back. I do really enjoy 4E and am very excited about everything that is going on!

Mar 23, 2009 21:37:21 A quicker way might be to go to the Character Builder, set up the characters, limit the sources from whch feats can be chosen, and then look at what they have available to them. I think that it would be much quicker than going the compendium route for now.
