Compendium Missing Powers

Nov 02, 2010 5:14:04 There are many powers in the game now that have associated "sub-powers".   As an example the Assassin's power Twilight Assassin (5th level daily) has Twilight Assassin Attack as a sub-power. This attack power is only useable when the Twilight Assassin power is in play.  All the monk Full Discipline powers are the same. For example, Five Storms has an attack technique and a move technique.

Now, if you look in the XML generated by the Character Builder for your character with these powers you'll see that each power has a Power ID. This ID is an index into the Powers database and uniquely identifies the power in question (correctly). For example, Five Storms is Power ID 7452 and the power ID can be used with the compendium to get the power card out directly(www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/po...). This power card shows the attack technique and the movement technique.

You'll also see in the XML generated by the Character Builder that the "sub-power", Five Storms Movement Technique has its own ID which is 7515 but if you use this full URL (www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/po...) you will get a server error.

This tells me that each of these sub powers has a ID which should be in the Compendium, but is not.

Please can these powers be added so that we can ge direct access to the power cards for such things as the Twilight Assassin Attack and all the monk Movement Techniques?

Yeah, I realised I should send this to CS so I have already.

Good luck with that. I have been reporting and asking Customer Service for the missing mounts for eight months now but none have been added to Character Builder.
