The big change is the addition of filters for searches; most of the options available on the Compendium website will be in the app, with a couple of exceptions - XP rewards for monsters, and cost for weapons/rituals being the main ones. This isn't a technical challenge so much as a UI one; it'll take some work to get the fields in properly.
I've also made some minor changes to the way results are displayed: if no type is specified then that results list won't include any types with no results, and some types (items, monsters and powers) will have the level next to the name.
I've also played around with using text colours to denote Insider-only information, but I've not found anything I'm happy with yet.
Anyway, I'd like some feedback, if anybody's used the app so far. What would you like to see, either in terms of new features or fixes?

'Fraid not - I'd have to buy a Mac, which seems a bit extreme to work on a conversion of a hobby coding project for a device I haven't got.

It's got a couple of new filters, for earching Backgrounds and Companions, and I've also given it a graphical update so it no longer uses the default Palm stylesheet.

When you run the app, open the application menu in the top right and click Preferences; you'll see this scene, with fields for your username and password:
Enter those and click the save button (or just back out of the scene) and the app will open compendium entries in its own sub-cards without you having to log in again.
If you haven't provided any credentials, it'll still open the web page so you can log in there, and it even shows an error message if your login details are incorrect.
I know there are a couple of minor CSS bugs when viewing entries, but if you see any let me know which entry it was in - the Wizards pages aren't entirely consistently or sensibly put together, and I'll never track them all down myself.
It also does landscape mode now, which helps a little if you're trying to see some of the longer sourcebook names.
Finally, I'm going to beg for reviews. Out of the 2200-ish people who've downloaded the app, only 12 have left reviews - and most of them are holding me accountable for things outside my control (like needing to log in to see D&D Insider content). So, if you use this app and like it, please let me know by leaving a review.
