| #1Negflar2099Aug 13, 2008 12:23:38 | I don't know if anyone else has requested this or not but one thing I would like to see in the Compendium is an ability to drag and drop rules elements that you frequently look up into a separate chart. This would work like the Encounter Builder but with Rules Elements instead of creatures. That way a DM could create a list of every power their PC's have or the races they have. I know that represents a lot of coding time so it probably won't happen but I thought I'd suggest it. |
| #2serphetAug 17, 2008 11:47:30 | so you mean like a custom dm screen builder? at fist glance this seems a little strange but really this would be a separate (and useful) app altogether, however the main flaw is that WoTC has made it clear that they aren't going to release the 'rules' online like that, because they are (rightfully) afraid that everyone would use those instead of the buying books. |
| #3OreAug 18, 2008 8:49:02 | GSL, and associated products, are being looked at so we may see more available in the compendium based on the new rules. Let's face it though. How many gamers have we all met who said they weren't buying the books because the rules were free online. I know I've met at least a dozen myself. WOTC got shot in the foot on that one. |
