compendium weirdness

Feb 16, 2009 10:18:23 So I am having issues w/ the compendium and wonder if others are as well.

I login to my DDI account and launch the comp. as usual. I perform a search then click on one of the entries given. I get the screen asking me to 1. subscribe, or 2. login w/ my account. I login and then get a blank search list and can only view entires by type (monsters, classes etc,) by clicking the view all tab after selecting a particular type.

If I view all of a particular type, I have to login again for each tab to view them. then can see the entries for those items. However if I go back to the search results and click a different tab, I have to login again.

So the search function at the moment is not working at all for me as being required to relogin erases my search results each time.

Anyone else experiencing problems at the moment?

This sounds like it could be a problem with your cookies or other private data in your web browser. You can solve it by clearing your cache and cookies. If you're not familiar with the process our Knowledge Base has a helpful article:

If clearing your private data does not solve the problem, please contact:

Feb 21, 2009 20:54:30 I've been using the Compendium for a while, but when I just tried to use it, I had the same problem. I log in and it takes me to a blank search area. I then search and click on an entry and it takes me to a log in screen. I log in, then it goes to a blank listing and when I search again and try to click on a link it takes me to log in.

This is the first time I've had this problem, its been working fine before tonight.

Feb 26, 2009 16:56:23 I had the same issue as the OP using FF3. It got to the point where I finally just set IETab to always load the wizards.com pages using IE automatically since it seemed to work okay.
