I can't think of a reason for this other than curiosity since the compiled version is what would be used in game and would be in the compendium (barring a transcription error).

Nov 30, 2009 0:37:08 The main draw would be for someone (like me) who reads the articles when they first come out, downloads that article and prints it out for use in-game. Once the compiled issue is out, if anything doesn't jive with the article, I've got to go reprint the whole thing out again and that's *if* I know anything changed.

If they were to post a link on the main page with the compiled issue (errata for current issue, for example) then I would be able to skim that, see if my printed article is affected and, if not, then I save myself and WotC some bandwidth by not having to download the whole magazine. If it did change or something was errata'd, then I can just get it from the errata page and mark it on my printout, again saving myself and WotC some bandwidth.

Just FYI, you don't have to print the whole compiled magazine. You can print a specified page range. That's a basic printing function within Acrobat. It's usually the last radio button choice under Print Range in the print dialog box.

Also, if the original article has a few pieces of errata that are just spelling and grammar errors, or updates that explain that RAW, a rule can be broken, I don't care. Especially that last one, because I hate seeing updates that I know only exist because people are breaking the game with stupid little word twists, those people are idiots, and they're only ruining the game for everyone that's willing to play with them for any reason."
