#1 hellmute Aug 08, 2008 8:07:27	I do like the new banner telling people something has been done with DDI. I like the red "on" or active "buttons" to denote which parts are currently available, or many they are to signify web-only content from other later down the road. I however found nothing but a notice on the bonus tools independent pages that something had been blocked. I can only guess then that there is some sort of shockwave object there or something else that is not being displayed to my browser for security reasons in regards to the "ability generator" and "encounter builder". But I dare say I do like the new little menu system presented for DDI and the additional buttons, including what, again to me at least, seems to indicate which features are ready, and which are not, even though it may not be specified on the master DDI page itself. Like the forums have a key at the bottom to tell what the icons for each means. So good job on getting those done so fast, and the way they are presented, as well as getting the "Bonus tools" section working where it had been mistakenly previewed early by the CMS in the sidebar a few days ago. Seems like stopping wasting time on Gleemax has paid off and shows that things ARE getting done towards DDI. Doesn't mean I think you can fully pull it off in an acceptable fashion to get my money for it, but it a huge leap compared to the past two months in progress! For those who do not know what I am talking about check the DDI section http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/insider to see the new design and what new information is presented there. After another dose of pain killers I will be playing around trying to figure out what my browser has blocked to see what I am missing and see what new developments may be hiding in those blocked sections. Hopefully not a shockwave driven set of tools, but... I will find out if I have to search the source code itself.

Now I don't have to use the hundreds of tools available on the internet that do the exact same thing that someone managed to create in a matter of days after the 4th Edition books came out. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if Wizards managed to create a Flash based die roller given a couple of years. :P
