| #1superdeadsmurfJul 31, 2009 8:18:11 | I'm really liking Monster Builder! Its quite fun, and I'll be using it tonight when I work on my adventure for monday's gaming! But, I'm not 100% happy with the stat blocks that are produced when printing (full page width ) or with copy as image. The major problem (with both really) is the font and font size used. It doesn't use the fonts that the books use, or anything like them! And they, you know, just look RIGHT, while these look piddly and small. Bringing them up a point size or two at least would be nice if you don't have the ability to grant a license to MENTOR to all users of the program. Alternately an option to change the size and font of the program would be quite appreciated. Also the * in stat blocks NEED to be the Diamond, or they just look dumb. The circle is better than nothing, but I need the diamond. I understand why basic system fonts needed to be used on the compendium as a web-based program it only has access to installed fonts (at least for now, I remember hearing HTML 4 will have the ability to install fonts) but as a stand-alone product, this should really be able to make the stat-blocks look right! |
