It's also not in Dragon 181, which also came out August 2010 along with Dra390. It's not of great importance, but correct source material is one of those things that come up in Living Forgotten Realms. |

Check the last paragraph on page 3 of the current campaign creation guide, above the list of resources: "Content from player resources is also available via D&D Insider tools such as the Compendium and Character Builder, but these tools also include all the other D&D content that isn't a player resource, so make sure you double-check this chart before using new material." |

Check the last paragraph on page 3 of the current campaign creation guide, above the list of resources: Correct, but treasure bundles and story awards grant access to non-player source material. Now as to whether that was the intent with this adventure is another question. I check the Rules Compendium when looking at treasure, but I forgot to doublecheck the actual resource (which I always try to do with monsters). I really dislike it when the Rules Compendium does not match the actual material... |

Yeah, sounds like a major mistake by WotC here (for including in the Compendium an item that was removed for balance reasons from the final version of the article) and a minor mistake on the LFR staff for including the weapon without realizing that. |
