Sep 04, 2008 12:00:26 I would like one place where we can post the changes that we notice in the articles of Dragon magazine.

I neither have the desire or the time to go over each article word for word. I assume that fluff has not changed, then I focus on player options (feats, powers, magic items, etc.

Here is what I have found.

Mithrendain: All fighter powers have added heavy blade to the weapon section. The Reactive Fey Step feat wording has changed some to make it an immediate interrupt and to not allow the character to teleport.

Wish Upon a Star: the Twofold Pact's requirements have changed to needing the eldritch Pact class feature instead of saying tiefling and warlock. (Note: Caiphon's Hungry Mercy is a 20th level utility: Does this mean that when you reach 20th level, you have to choose a lower level daily power, and you can't choose this power until 22nd level?)

Let me know if there are any other changes that I missed.

Sep 04, 2008 12:09:49 Just as important, I'd like to call attention to the fact that the min-downloads have not been revised to match the full Dragon download.

Sep 04, 2008 15:54:13 I forgot to mention that also in the Mithrendain article, the magic items Mithrendain Steel Weapon and Eldritch Serpent Armor have their enhancement bonuses listed. Shield of the Barrier Sentinels still doesn't.

Sep 05, 2008 13:18:05 There's still several errors in the "Ritually Speaking" article, comparing the original to the compiled version. (I haven't examined closely yet, but perhaps nothing is different.)

I would really like if WotC made good use of their ability to hot-edit their digital products. I would really, really like if each article's download page (as well as each compilation's download page) noted the edits made and indicated the "version" of article. (1.1, 1.2, etc. seems reasonable enough.)

Most of all, I'd really like it if WotC improved their editing standards, for both printed and digital products. Period.
