First, there's a boingboing feature on the front page right now- but that article was from 2008, and featured the character visualizer and the gaming table. ^^;

Second, I know that the frenzied berserker article is up- why isn't it linked from the editorial calendar, out of curiousity? That's one of the primary ways I read the site. ^_^

lol, the news article itself is from 2008... a funny coincidence that they show us this while the cries for news on the builder, game table and visualizer are escalating on the forums :D

So instead of making progress on the the Virtual table top, they just reuse old news. Not a bad idea. Atleast those that don't pay attention think they are moving forward.

It was probably unintentional, since it's the same date with the year changed. Mean-spirited replies are unnecessary.

Still hilarious though. I wonder if they actually will make an announcement there or if this update will be quickly recalled/amended before it gets out of hand.

That boingboing article is from a YEAR ago.

All the comments about it are dated 2008.

WOTC, what the heck are you trying to pull? Putting up a YEAR OLD STORY and making it sound like brand new news? The screen shots still show the old dice from fantasy grounds that WOTC had to take down due to legal issues.

Just the top notch communication I have come to expect from WOTC. Well done.

If WOTC stays true to fourm, they won't say/ do anything. I don't expect them to.

Congratulations on turning a case of simple error into a corporate conspiracy. Imagination is a valuable quality among D&Ders!

I know it was a mistake.
I can still be miffed that the Virtual Table Top hasn't happened yet.
And if they are going to open themselves up to a comment, I'll take it to remind them that I really really really want a virtual table top.
