| #1avatardsoJan 14, 2009 14:25:47 | Hello, I would like to know if in the future or currently we will be able to add our own Races and Classes to the character builder? Reason being is that for example... We (my group) are huge DarkSun fans and want to play Half-Giants, Thri-Kreen and Athasian Humans for the races and as for the classes we are wanting to be able to add in Psionocists, Templars, Traders etc... Will there be a option to creat such data? Also will there be a option to export the info to share with others? David Jackson |

I'm sure most of us would also like the freedom and ability to input, alter and create their own custom-made feats and powers into the system (and, if possible, even have a way to make it so they automatically add skill bonuses/initiative bones/etc. to other character sheet calculations they affect). And most of us would also like the ability to input/add new custom created equipment, weapons, armor and magic items into the system… and have that information stored so the system recognizes those individual items and their statistics (weight, damage dice, reach, cost, etc.) and inputs those associated values into all affected panels (i.e. fills them out as normal in the attack work spaces, basic attack boxes, etc.). Beyond these changes, I hope Wizards will allow a lot more control over the character sheet itself... to be able to click on EVERY single number value on the sheet and change them to whatever a person wants and even alter the automated formulations to account for house rules. Currently DMs and players can only click on some values (such as the main ability stats, AC, FORT, etc.). |

I would suspect, highly, that WotC is well enough aware that many many D&D players rely on a multitude of house rules and customizations to existing powers/classes, etc. |
