Custom Monsters not deletable

Since the April update I have custom monsters in the on line Monster Builder that do not show any description for their powers.  I cannot delete these monsters either since the MB does not seem to recognize them.  I can edit them, add descriptions and save but they are still not recognized and cannot be deleted.  Anyone else seeing this?  This can be a big problem since they seem to be counted against the 100 custom monsters allowed.

I too have this issue. The monster shows on the list but will not show a summery. When you edit the monster it has no powers etc. When you highlight the monster in the list the delete button is greyed out and will not respond. I have not gone through the whole list of my monsters to see how many have been corrupted in this way.

It is a little unnerving as it makes me feel that the saved files are not safe. This and the limited storage space makes me export everything, and there still is no good way to look at exported files. Questions of data integrity and lack of storage are the biggest drawback to the builder at this time and in my opinion serious ones.

Have either of you reported the issue with a customer support ticket? The montly update is coming up, though I don't know how much time they would need to fix it.

I haven't seen the issue myself.

I've had the problem too. I was eventually able to delete the monsters in question (about 3 out of 50 custom monsters were affected) about a week after they got messed up, but I have no idea if I did something to cause this or how I fixed it.

It's nice to know it's not just me, but disconcerting too because it means there might be an underlying problem at WotC data center.

I reported the bug.  There is also a way to work around this although it isn't much help.  You can edit the monster, save it (it doesn't matter if you add descriptions of the powers in or not) then exit MB.  When you reenter MB that monster will now show up in the summary and can be deleted.  Of course having to reenter all of the power descriptions is a real pain but there seems to be no other choice since this data seems to have been removed from the DB for those monsters.

Thanks Ieo, your work around at least cleared the garbage out. I had only 2 effected files in 58.

It leaves the integrity of the data base in question but at least we can get rid of the files when they do implode.
