Both times left me shaking my head in bewildered frustration. The first time I called was because I needed tp update my credit card information. My bank had sent me a new card (as banks do periodiclly when your expiration date comes around). I found out that there was no possible way to update my account. I actually had to wait until my current subscription ran out and then buy a new one with the new card. OK, I have a bunch of online subscription and every other one, without exception, had a handy online update for my card. "OK" I said, "That seems ridiculous, but whatever." Then last moths (two months or so after signing up with the new card) I get an email that informs me that my card authorization had failed. "Weird" I though, but just went online and signed up again (that's the thrid time now). This month I get the exact same message. So, I call up customer service to find out whats going on with the card. The guy on the phone is obviously clueless and can offer no explaination. He renews my subscription yet again and says, "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" Uhh, yeah, what is wrong with my account? Why will autorenew not work? Then he suggest I until my software and re-install it. "What software?" I ask, "this is an online subscription that is kicking my card back on my renew date. The CB and MB are the problem?" He tells me nevermind and again trys to close the call. Anyway, try as I might he could offer no explaination and was obviously not intrested in looking any deeper into it. I gues this is just a big compaint, but, honestly, I really want to be impressed. I really am impressed with the CB and MB products -- they are great! So, anyone else had similar stuff going on or is Murphy just camping out in my backyard. My experience says that the DDi customer service is not so great. |

They care, they just don't have the money, resources, and management experience to handle these kinds of problems. |
