I'm pretty sure the answer remains now what it was a year ago: 1) They probably hope to eventually release it; 2) They are not currently working on development of it. Given the current workload issues with the existing DDI tools, I don't think you need to worry about it being developed any time soon.

#6 P1NBACK Nov 01, 2010 10:33:06	I highly doubt it. Also, I hope not. There's a slew of other tools I'd much rather have. Really, the visualizer was only good as a supplement to the virtual tabletop.
#7 Harknail Nov 02, 2010 17:16:22	The visualizer has always been the tool I'm most interested in. Anything else I can do myself with spreadsheets. But getting a character illustration with the right race, armor, and equipment ranges from very difficult to impossible with other available tools. Maybe it's just me, but I like to point to the illustration of my character and say that's what my character looks like. The rest is just numbers and I can do numbers.
