I've no clue if there's a Silverlight option for Android (for the Character Builder), but the Compendium should be available.

If that's giving you trouble, some nice soul coded a simplified interface.  My WinMobile6.5 phone handles this nicely, so I suspect Android won't have any issues.

There's an app Sylloge, that will allow you to browse the compendium from your Droid.  Silverlight is a no go on the Droid though.

I believe it was next on their to-do list after flash. So, maybe it's being worked on.

I did hear of a silverlight app for the Droid called Moonlight, but I haven't tried it on my phone yet.

Not quite true. Silverlight is available for Droids... but it costs something like $6. I haven't picked it up, because there's no guarantee that any of the DDi stuff will work on it. And I have no desire to spend 6 bucks on something that I can't use...

Dammit.

Something else I can't use.

Moonlight isn't up to the same version of Silverlight that the CB uses, so there's currently no way to use the CB on Android. I can browse the Compendium on my Android phone using the free Opera Lite browser. I'm about to try the link sigfile posted to see if it runs more smoothly than on Opera.

Verdict: Awesome! I can uninstall Opera now, since it being able to browse the Compendium was the only reason I needed it. Thanks for posting the link, sigfile. Here it is again: forgreatjustice.net/dnd4e/compendium-hel...

Excellent, just what I wanted.  Guess I'll have to wait for Silverlight on Android, but this is at least a start.  Thanks y'all so much!

Its sad when the developers need the community to code workarounds for them...

Its not like most digital communities have a host of modders.

Modders are one thing, they make apps do things they were not intended to do, they don't have people fixing bugs for them (unless its an open code project)...
