D&D Character Builder Problem - "Staff Fighting" Feat Problem

When I use the "Staff Fighting" Feat with a quarterstaff, should I not also receive a bonus to my AC of +1 due to the Defensive property? If so, the Character Builder is not adding this in automatically when I show that the quarterstaff is equipped. Is this something else that needs to be corrected?

I made a Level 6 Wizard/Artificer Hybrid with Int 20 (+5) and my AC is at 25 but should be 26, except the character builder won't allow me to equip my staff in my offhand to gain the defensive property it should provide from my Staff Fighting feat.

10+5(int)+3(half-level)+2(unarmored agility)+1(hafted defense)+1(staff of defense)+1(staff fighting)+3 (+2 Cloth Armor)=26

ARGH.
