What ever happened to some of the really cool stuff that DDI was supposed to have with it. I remember eagarly waiting for 4.0 to come out and things such as Character Illustrators and Online tabletops to come out with DDI. Hearing all that, I jumped on DDI when it first came out and though disappointed that alot of what was promised was not at release, I stuck by and dished out a monthly subscription in the hope that the awsomeness that was advertised would come around, however here we are years after the realease of 4.0 and still nothing. It would appear that those things just fizzled out. For these reasons I have since cancelled my subscription and only pay for a month every 6-8 months just to update the character builder. Has WotC just given up on all the cool things that was advertised at launch, or are they still a work in progress?
For those of you who dont know of what i speak here is a link to the video that caused me to throw myself at 4.0 and DDI:

Hell I would pay monthly just to get a hold of that work in progress. It was an awsome idea and would work wonderfuly with the 4.0 system. If there is still some hope of these things coming around than please tell me.

Bull ****, DDI will shut down its service due to pissing off all the customers before adventure tools ever comes out of beta.

One of the problems with the internet is that it lacks the nuances of speech that let people understand when something is meant sarcastically...
