We've been seeing reports over the past couple of days where people have been having some trouble logging in to view the D&Di content. I have an update on the situation. Originally, D&Di sign-in wasn't tied to our single sign on (SSO) system. Recently, we fully integrated it which had some unexpected side effects. Incorrect Login Info - Before we tied D&Di to our SSO system, users could enter anything (or even nothing at all) in the D&Di login information screen and get access. While this wasn't a big deal at the time, it became an issue when people who were used to entering no information, or information they thought to be correct but wasn't, suddenly were having problems. People would say, "Hey, the login and password I used perfectly for three months no longer works!" They were correct, unfortunately, that's because we weren't really checking that information before. Solution: Verify that you are using the correct login information that you use to log into the Gleemax Blog site and/or the Wizard's forums. Unable to Login - We are also seeing some issues where people are still having trouble logging in. This could be caused by a few different reasons, including browser settings or the use of non-standard characters in a password. It appears that there are some cases where special characters, such as & % * etc, might work for a password on the Gleemax blog site and the Wizards forums, but not on D&Di. Additionally, we believe we've found and fixed another bug that was presenting people from being able to log in. Solution: Clear your internet browser cache and check your cookie settings. Reset your password if you use non-standard characters. Forgot Password Technical Error - Some users were experiencing issues when they clicked on "forgot password" from the D&Di log in screen. We've fixed this problem by properly redirecting users to the Gleemax main log in screen where they can change their password. Unfortunately, this means people will have to click on the "forgot password" link once on the D&Di log in page, then a second time on the Gleemax main page. Solution: Click on the "forgot password" link on the Gleemax main page. It can be accessed directly or by clicking on the "forgot password" link on the D&Di log in area. Navigation Log outs - Some users are being logged out while navigating the content of D&Di, requiring them to log back in. We're investigating situations where this is occuring and are trying to fix them. Hopefully we can reduce the incidents of this occuring and we understand that it can be very frustrating. Solution: We're working to eliminate situations that might cause this happen for some users. For anyone still having problems, please submit a ticket to our Customer Service department via http://wizards.custhelp.com/ They may be able to use additional tools to resolve individual access issues that are not fixed by any of the above solutions. Please keep in mind that our CS ticket tool isn't yet part of our SSO system, so you will need to sign up and create a new login if you haven't already. (Your Gleemax/Wizards/D&Di login information will not work) We apologize for any trouble these issues may have caused those who have experienced them and thank everyone for their patience and help as we've worked towards resolution. -Mike
