Nov 13, 2008 13:43:37 Yep, yep count me in as an early subscriber to D&Di and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the content and find it well worth my money. If everything pans out as advertised D&Di will be the best thing to ever happen to D&D in my opinion. The price of $15 a month for all tools, as long as all the virtual minis are free, will be more than fair to me and anybody complaining about the cost, should stop tripping and accept the fact it is what it is. Game Table and Character Visualizer could end up being the S#!T!!!!!! and boy am I praying that it ends like that, because I've been dreaming of a viable online D&D game since I graduated from college, and discovered that meeting random people in Houston, TX to join a D&D group is definitely not for me. No offense but I've met enough wierdos and plain old crappy RPG players to last a lifetime in the last 5 years. I now realize unless my old group unites from the corners of the world, I attend a convention and meet some locals, of this Game Table works out I will never play the game again. So yeah I'm putting faith, prayers, hope, etc in Wizards and D&Di to come through in the clutch.......This is D&Di's gift!!! However if these tools fail miserably, I will have spent a year waiting and anticipating, buying source books, and subscribing to content for nothing!!!! WOTC I beg of you!!!! MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!

p.s. I know for a fact All D&D and players are not wierdos despite the image the media and McCain spokespeople present, but you got to admit some people take this orcs and goblin isht too far, and I've met a lot of them....lots

I just left Houston myself :p Austin is much more accommodating.

btw I recommend openrpg for the time being, has a very good system of meeting people. While maptools is a better client, the social aspect of maptools is sub par.

I wish... Well my friend runs the UT gaming guild, so I had an easy time finding a group.
