| #1CorrinAvatanAug 05, 2009 13:14:31 | Anybody find it weird that if you level a macetail behemoth from 7 to 30, it still does the same amount of damage if it hits? I'm sure there are rules for how much damage a monster of a specific type should be doing. Will this be implemented in the future, or do we have to go in ourselves and manually modify damage. If so, what are the rules for that? thanks for your time |
| #2BarmpAug 05, 2009 23:00:05 | I noticed that too for a few creatures, some had complex damage entries and didn't change at all, some you had to manually go into the power and hit the 'level appropriate' key for it to change the power bonus. The dice damage rarely, if ever, have changed in my useage. In leu of actually fixing this, could the level appropriate damage tables (and maybe other rules as well?) be listed on the right side in a menu for easy access? Even if this is just a bug intended to be squashed right now, it would be really nice to be able to quickly pull up that table without digging into the book. |

This is how I THINK it works: If the damage dealt by the attack matches the DMG table, then I think this field is set to a value of "Normal". If the damage does not match, the field is set to a value of "Custom". When set to "Custom", damage dealt by an attack does not appear to recalculate. So, just change the Source to "Normal". Then pick Low, Medium or High, as appropriate for the Modifier. Then click on the little green reset arrow. The damage for the attack should then recalculate. |
