| #1kyremiMar 13, 2011 22:11:29 | Hey guys, I started DM'ing a game a few months back, using Excel as a HP/initiative/conditions tracker. Unfortunately Excel isn't designed for this purpose, so I decided to make something which was. My program Damage Tracker for now just does what my spreadsheet did, but faster and more easily, while logging the results... my ideas for it only came into being 24 hours ago; it's taken shape over the weekend. img822.imageshack.us/i/dtpic1.png img232.imageshack.us/i/dtpic2.png It's pretty basic... I know there are other tools out there that'll be more advanced and such. The reason for posting this is so I know if there's any niche this could fill, and if so, what I could program into this to make it better i.e. this is an open feature request. (The way it currently works is that you check the boxes of the characters being attacked, set the damage amount, select the name of the attacking character, and click apply damage. This is then logged and the damage subtracted.) If nothing else I'll keep making it for my personal use, but it'd be good to make this into a bit of kit that'd be useful to more than just me ![]() |
