Dark Sun content?

Nov 29, 2010 13:19:58 So, when will the Character Builder have all the content that was in the Dark Sun Campaign Setting book? I just realized there are loads of backgrounds that aren't available, and it only gives you the ability to choose one background. Not only that but the inherant leveling bonuses aren't an option, either.

What gives? I'd like to have my players start making characters, but I'm the only one with the book.

Nov 29, 2010 14:01:56 And once you DO go ahead and make a Dark Sun character, I hope you don't want to give any of those characters anything like any of 'alternate rewards' like arena training or such out of the DSCG book, because those aren't in there either. Further, DS monsters are nowhere to be found in the Compendium or MB.

In short, if you are a Dark Sun Player or DM, you are still mostly SOL if you want to take advantage of the tools, just slightly less SOL than before they launch of the new CB. I have no idea why WOTC wants so badly to screw over those who play/DM Dark Sun, but there you go.

It's for uploading into the web CB. It's blank except for being a Dark Sun character and having inherent bonuses enabled.

As far as I can tell it will work through all 30 levels, though I haven't tested it completely myself.
