Darksun Updates?

Aug 24, 2010 11:23:11 I am planning on getting the DND Character builder and resubbing to Insider, but I wanted to know prior to this if its been updated with the Darksun material yet?

Anyone know?

Somewhere here or there it was mentioned that the update for next month was pushed back to the 20th or 21st. Forget where I saw it.

Unless "tools" specifically means "Adventure Tools" (possible, but I don't get the feeling that's what the guy meant), it's all pushed back to the 21st.

It was clarified somewhere by a Wizards person that this unfortunately includes the CB as well.

Aug 25, 2010 0:37:38 I've been considering subscribing, but I don't want to pay the $10 for access to the builder and then find out on Sept.21st that the update to the CB is being pushed back AGAIN and that I'd need to pay for another month in order to gain access to the Dark Sun content.

In the past they have been really good about giving you the next month if there was a push-back, but you have to ask Customer Service for it.

Also, the last time they announced a push-back of one of the updates, they got the content out earlier than the pushed-back date anyway.

Your call, obviously, but so far I think they have been doing things right when there is a slippage of content updates.

Sep 13, 2010 14:06:05 Mayhaps they're using the extra time to fix bugs and other such undesirable effects. And fill in some of the blank spots and what not. We can hope at least.

Just watch, they'll use it as an excuse not to update at all in October, and we'll be another month behind on Dragon updates (I'm already annoyed at having to wait 2-3 months for dragon content to appear on the builder).

This isn't the first time they've done this. I was all ready to sign up for another year too because I'm about to play an Ardent in my roomate's new Dark Sun Campaign. I knew Dark Sun wouldn't be in the builder, but I totally expected Psionic Power to be. I'm SO GLAD I checked first.
