Hey guys,

I hope someone can maybe help me with my little problem. I've created quite a lot of custom monsters in the Monster Builder on my old PC. Now that I got a new laptop, I want to transfer those from the PC, but don't know how or if it is possible at all. I tried to copy the Adventure Tools folder and overwrite the one on the laptop, but nothing changed. Then searched my PC for any other places where the data of the custom made monsters could be saved, but found nothing.
Have any of you an idea if such a transfer is possible at the moment? Or do I have to wait for an update of the tools to be able to do that?

Thanks a lot in advance!

There's a little button on the top right-hand side of the monster list. You have to export each custom monster to an XML file. Then, import each one. I don't know if there's a way to do it more than one at a time.

Alright, this method will be rather time consuming, but better than nothing. Thanks a lot!

I will send this as a suggestion to the DDI Dev team. I can't promise anything, but I will pass it up.

One thing that would work nicely would be a way to Shift Click or Crtl Click and be able to select multiple monsters for export and import.

Isn't there a data file somewhere you can just copy over? I remember reading something about that when the devs were talking about backing up your content before an update.

C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\AdventureTools\Data

AppData is a hidden folder
The three files are:
Monster.data
Monster.package
Template.data
