Is he a standard paladin, a cavalier, or a blackguard?  Only a standard paladin gets to choose an encounter power at level 3.  The other two sub-classes get a second use of the smite power that they got at level 1.

#14 skipn65 Aug 05, 2012 17:26:45	2 Issues!    1)  The Character Builder won't let me equip a weapon in my off-hand with the Two-Weapon Defense.    2)  The Character Builder crashed and now it won't load most of the time.  When it does, none of the choices for race/class/everything else associated with the last character I worked on won't appear (For example, Half-Elf no longer appears in Race options for a new character).

A recent Dragon/Dungeon News announced that DDi is trying an experiment in October by releasing all of our subscription content in two collected issues, rather than posting individual articles throughout the month and so those links should be disabled to avoid further confusions. I asked customer service, and they told me to send the pitches to them and they'd send it to the staff, or to post them here. But I'm still not sure they understood my problem and thought I was merely asking to send suggesstions to the mai nteam rather than pitches for my own articles, so I must ask (Particularly the mods working for WotC), is that the proper way to go? If not, how do I get this problem resolved? I'd hate to lose a chance of getting my D&D articles due to a technical mess-up.
#28 Catteraine Dec 17, 2012 16:28:55	I am new to Insider but cannot access most of the articles, no matter which way I try to access them.  I cannot access any of the articles of Dungeon Issue 209, 206 and 203, and almost all the way back to 174 (that's as far as I have checked); there might be other unaccessible ones in previous issues. Also, some of the cover pictures in the article overview are missing.  I can access issue 208. 207, 205 and 204 so apparently this is not a browser problem (I have btw tried with IE, Opera and Google Chrome). Issue 186 has download buttons, something the others don't have.  I’d be happy to hear some suggestions on how I can read the issues.

#57 Silverseeker Jul 03, 2013 22:02:25	Eladrin (no subrace selected) Wizard (Arcanist) with the Scholar Theme and World Walker background is showing me Goblinoid Mount Training in addition to Eladrin racial options in Feats. Level 11. I think the Scholar level 10 feature is responsible. It grants Goblin as a language; might just add Goblin tag. I notice that the other Goblin racial feats specifically call out "Goblin race" as a prerequisite.

#63 CUBPHILDND Oct 30, 2013 14:59:48	The Character Builder in Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) won't allow saving as pdf.  Nor will it allow opening as a pdf in Preview.  As a workaround, "Mail PDF" still works, and then I can just drag the pdf out of the mail message.   EDIT: Also, I can no longer export dnd4e files.  I don't know of any workaround for this issue.   I emailed CustServ, and their "solution" was to use Windows:   WIzards of the Coast Customer Service wrote:

#79 nofax1 Aug 27, 2014 16:16:48	Not having the same problem.  Seems to be working for me.  It could be a permissions issue.  Make sure you update your browser to allow the tools to work considering it is from a new web address.

#83 Astromath Sep 08, 2014 18:05:49	Having an issue with Dungeons & Dragons Compendium.  Here's the link:  http://www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/database.aspx   The compendium main page pops up, but the issue is the compendium hangs up after entering the search criteria and clicking the search button.  All I can see is the cursor turned into the "working" or "thinking" cursor (a torus shaped cursor that is circulating clockwise).  Customer service says to update Silverlight.  However, as far as I can tell, the compendium doesn't run on Silverlight.  I'm thinking if the Character Builder and Adventure Tools links were sent to the archive, maybe this line too?  But I can't find out for sure since there are no more links to the insider material (or the links are extremely well hidden).
