I hope I am posting in the right area.

I would like to know if there is another tool besides the DDI Encounter builder that would work for me. I like DDI's builder, it's simple and too the point. The problem I have with it is that it does not pull in the full monster stat blocks, which I want.

#1 - Is there a third party tool that will do this?

#2 - Does WoTC have any plans to implement this in their version?

Best.

One third party tool that seems to be popular with many people is Masterplan, which you can get here: www.habitualindolence.net/masterplan/ove... .

There has been talk from WotC in the past about creating a full-featured Encounter Builder/designer (and even a Campaign Manager), but right now the focus seems to be on the Virtual Table, and the online Monster Builder and Character Builder.

We can only speculate about the future of other tools like an encounter builder - but I feel confident in predicting that it's still on WotC to-do list for digital tools.

I appreciate the response! I like the simpleness of DDI's builder and it would suite my needs if it only imported the darn stat blocks.

I downloaded Masterplan and am futzing areound with it. It looks like a nice tool!

The VT seems like it has a great deal of potential to cover alot of bases if they do it right. I've enjoyed messi around with it so far.

Thanks again!
