DDI Forums June Report

Jul 08, 2009 11:28:06 The Purpose of this report is to inform Community Management and the Brand Teams about the mood(s) of the Community on various topics. This is not to imply that Community Management does not read the forums, because they do. However they also requested that VCLs provide these reports in order to provide an outside perspective.

It is important to note that even if the Community, the News Guides and I all feel that an item is important and needs to be acted upon immediately, WotC may have different priorities. These reports are not intended to be "honey-do" lists for WotC, nor is a lack of response by WotC towards any of the topics on these reports an indication that WotC has read and dismissed (or even worse, is ignoring) the concerns of the community. It simply means that they have other items that have higher priorities, or are more urgent for WotC to deal with.

1 - Would it be possible to get a pdf with all of the articles of a similar sort grouped together?? For example, all of the Save my Game articles in one pdf, all of the Scales of War adventures in another...that sort of thing.

2 - Has a group pricing plan been considered? http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1199036

3 - There have been requests for more adventures in Dungeon that are more than just dungeon crawls. Compiled thread of most threads is on enworld ( http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/257275-adventures-not-dungeon-crawls.html )

4 - There has been a request for the addition of some text that says the magazine files are allowed to be printed for personal use. Solice (one of the previous Community Managers) was working on this, but never came back with anything official or an additional text in the magazine ( http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1207866 )

5 - There have been requests for the release of Khyber's Harvest, the Free RPG Day Adventure, just as last year's adventure, Treasure of Talon Pass, was released. ( http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1211183 )

Jul 08, 2009 11:29:35 Pesonal note - I would like to apologize to the community for there not being more in June. June got very busy for me IRL, and this self-assigned portion of my task fell to the wayside somewhat. WotC Cm was still informed of the reports via direct PMs to WotC_Trevor, however they were not compiled in one large report.

The fact that a list like this exists at all is nice.
