#1 mbeacom Dec 27, 2011 13:48:38	Ok, quick question. I searched these threads as well as the main sight so I apologize if the answer is available. I couldn't find it. Anyway, one of the groups I run for is looking at pooling our money to buy a DDi Sub for a player who can't really afford it.  We all have subs and have nice new character sheets every week and every week, he has an old marked up sheet that he updates manually. We've all let him update his character on our accounts here and there but none of us really feel comfortable simply giving other people our login to use. So we'd like to pool our money and buy him his own 1 year sub. I know he already has an account so I can't just make him a new one and give him the login. Is there a way to buy someone a coupon code for a 1 year sub or something so that he can upgrade his account to being paid? Basically, we want to surprise him with it, while not negating his existing account. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. THanks!
#2 Mand12 Dec 27, 2011 14:57:27	I'm not aware of any gift subs, but there's always the option of convincing him to give you his login info, which you then use to sign up for a sub that you pay for.  Probably wise to cancel autorenew and remove credit card info after that, but it'd get teh job done. There's probably some aspect of that that isn't quite kosher, but given the situation I'm not sure I see the harm.
