The online character builder is very slow and often shuts down on me.  The website in general is also very slow, which is surprising for a paid access type site.

I used to be a memeber, cancelled it for over a year and recently re-upped my subscription.  So far I'm a little disappointed.  I am now using a Mac (safari browser) where before I was using a windows machine with safari.  I can't rule out it may be that change.  However i would think that they support common browsers so this should not be a good reason to not work properly.  Anyone else experience very slow functionality with either the website and/or any of the DDI online tools?  If so, any work arounds?

Its due to the website having to send every click and drag you make back to the server. It slows it down horribly...

Typing a word into the search box is the worst part. Doing a copy-paste from notepad saves a lot of time there.

Still, I've largely abandoned using the character builder for this very reason: I can build a character by hand far more efficiently that way, despite having to write things out manually.
