This lucky boy just received a Kindle 2 for Christmas.

I've tried transferring Dungeon magazine onto it, but the resulting image is too small to comfortably read, even in landscape view.

Any other Kindle users out there who can offer some tips?

I'm not a Kindle/DX user (damn them not shipping to NZ!) but I have a DR1000S by iRex. That has a zoom function, I can mark the area to zoom with a stylus, has the Kindle not got anything similar?

I take it you are talking about the 6" Kindle? IMO they are too small, even with cropped PDFs to view A4 sized docs. Even when cropped the stuff on the pages which does not have white background is unreadable. However there is a free app called jupiter.kaist.ac.kr/~taesoo/projects/pap..." title="jupiter.kaist.ac.kr/~taesoo/projects/pap...">paper crop which can sorta work. There is also a non free one called PDF cropper which is better apparently www.pdfcropper.com/
