What do you use to get DDi up on Linux? Wine? VMWare? What? I'm thinking of rebuilding my laptop with CentOS (currently running Windows XP) and want to know what other steps will be needed to get DDi working...? Thanks heaps Blakey |

| #4asmodeusloreMay 31, 2011 13:43:55 | In linux, the compendium and the pdf files are the only thing that work natively. The vt was working except for voice, but last time I tried, that was no longer true; Nothing worked. The web based char builder doesn't function at all without virtualization. With visualization, everything works fine. |

So given that I have a perfectly working Windows XP laptop right now, if I rebuild it with Linux I'd then need to install software to perfectly simulate the set up I have now in order to get DDi to work. I guess I'll stick with Windows. Sigh. |
| #7kilpatdsJun 01, 2011 12:02:44 | Well ... my windows VM is a lot smaller (/has nothing installed), and only runs when I need to use DDI. So I think it's a win. But you've got the gist of it. |
