Apr 09, 2009 6:52:01 I'd like to get a portable version of the software as I am using many portable computers on several sites.

1/Can it be installed on USB key with all the components or are there specific actions to do or file to copy?
2/Can it run from this USB key?
3/Will I get my update or do I have to make another one?
4/In case of an update from USB key will it take one of my update per month if I have already updated my home personal computer?
5/ General question, in which side of the file tree can I find the specific files due to my update?

Apr 15, 2009 17:44:36 I don't think it will run at all - or that is, you could install it, but it is not self-contained, so it would not work as a portable app.

Apr 16, 2009 10:10:40 the system you use it on from the usb key has to have the 3.51 stuff installed/updated on it.

Even if you install the CG on a USB key, it will only run on the PC used for the installation, because the required registry entries will be missing on other machines.
