I just singed up for a DDI subscription, how long will I have to wait to be able to login to get to content and the character builder? I have read this takes about 2 days is this true?

It should be fairly rapidly.

Make sure that you have logged out of the WotC website, completely close your browser (all windows) and then restart your browser and then log back in.

That should do it.

Thanks for the fast reply. I did logout and then logged back into the DDI but still nothing. I am running FireFox and did this in IE as well. I have not received a conformation email from Wizards that I subscribed to DDI if they send one out. I checked my CC statement online but as of yet nothing has shown up. But like I say I set the subscription up around 8 PM PST so I will just give it a day or so. Perhaps it just takes time. I would think it would be instantaneous.

My impression has been activation tends to occur during business hours. DR might activate you about 9:00 AM GMT, there again it might be sooner or later. *shrugs*

Some were activated in hours, some had problems because of ID mismatch or other situation concerning the purchaser's personal situation.

Thanks Mike. As of yet I do not see any charge on my CC and cannot get into the paid DDI content.

Hi Traygin,

If you don't see a charge then the order didn't go through. There are some solutions listed in our help section at http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1444&p_created=1218665887&p_sid=bBxI3zkj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MiwyJnBfcHJvZHM9MCZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y9JnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9YW5zd2Vycy5zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1kJmRpIHByb2JsZW1z&p_li=&p_topview=1.

If those don't work, then you need to contact Customer Service directly and they can help you get it started.
