DDI subscription info for third parties?

I'm developing a web-based combat tracker (see my profile for more info and link), and it occurred to me that it would be great if there was a API for checking if a user is a DDI subscriber, or maybe even compendium access. Perhaps something similar to Twitter authorization API or Facebook Connect etc. This would give us third party developers a great amount of interesting options.

Any chance for such a thing? There are examples on how the API should work, and don't think it would require a lot of work since WotC already has an existing web framework to build upon.

Like if I buy a book of classes from Goodman Games, could they potentially create data that I could buy and install into the CB to use alongside the official material without having to manually enter a couple hundred powers in by hand? I don't know if any companies are interested in that right now, but there are a few I would buy from if they did. Right now I find that to be a large barrier to using the CB, as soon as you decide to use any non-official content you have to do the character by hand anyway and might as well not even bother with CB.

Like if I buy a book of classes from Goodman Games, could they potentially create data that I could buy and install into the CB to use alongside the official material without having to manually enter a couple hundred powers in by hand? To the best of my knowledge, no it is not possible with the character builder. The Monster Builder, I believe that it may be possible though.
