Feel free to add a post if you are aware of an upcoming update so I can keep this first post updated and current. Official WotC people are more than welcome to add to this and/or correct this, of course.

September, 2011 - Adventure Tools Update - Monster customization
December, 2011 (tentatively) - Compendium Update - Themes (technically, Wizards said "end of the year")

Q: You mentioned that the D&D Adventure Tools would receive a feature update this summer. We’re now into August, and we were wondering when we could expect that scheduled update for the Adventure Tools?
A: The D&D Adventure Tools update that includes the features to build and more fully adjust monsters is currently scheduled for the tail end of summer, which in this case means September.

Compendium update for themes - Neverwinter Campaign Setting thread - WotC_Huscarl from 8/9/11:

No themes in the Compendium yet. They're coming, probably before the end of the year, but no release month has been announced.

Playtest material must be finalized before it lands in the online tools. There needs to be time for actual playtesting, for R&D to assess the feedback and make adjustments, and for the revised article to make another pass through production and approvals. That means a delay of at least a month, probably two or three, before playtest material goes into the queue for inclusion in the online tools compared to nonplaytest material that appeared at the same time. As to the hybrid and multiclass options specifically, I can't say exactly when that revised material will be made available, but I believe it's in the final approval cycle right now.
