| #4OrcbossJul 03, 2009 9:32:05 | When Dungeons & Dragon insider will produce the gametable? Currently, no. I got the subscription for the Magazines and the pssibility to play with gamers of every part of the world. It is, just not with a WotC product. There are several virtual tabletops out there. I'd recommend looking into MapTool, OpenRPG, and ScreenMonkey. |
| #5jsepetaSep 29, 2009 15:45:14 | I bought D20 Pro for a great discount at GenCon 2009, and still can't get it running. That's why I was so optimistic about WotC offering a similar tool, which would allow me to game with my daughter mid-week (she lives 100 miles away). It kind of sucks not having a 1st class tool like this that would be oh-so-useful. I can't stand the new D&DI look. First off, today's login placed the "subscribe" button directly under the password, where the LOGIN button should go. Second, when going to online forums, i have to SEARCH for the freaking D&D icon. it should be the FIRST freaking icon. GEEEZ. i have little respect for card games which are arguably the greatest money making resource owned by WotC. it just doesn't make sense $$$ to an old gamer like me, and is devoid of roleplaying content. over $100-$200 a year for CARDS? no wonder they've got such a hard-on for making a new splatbook every month. in the old TSR days, they put more effort into making lots of MODULES for the DMs to use. Nowadays it's all about the players, because there's more of us to sell stuff to. It's starting to burn me out. |
