Default Layout Issue

Nov 10, 2008 21:27:51 I'm surprised no one had mentioned this yet. In the default layout, the last three skills are cut off. They don't fit on the page. This can be fixed by rearranging the layout. Hopefully the full version will be cleaner.

Holy cow, you're right! I didn't even notice this, as it cuts it off clean at the bottom.

The landscape layout fits 2 more skills on there, but it kneecaps Thievery.

Nov 10, 2008 21:40:59 They're there on my screen, PLUS the languages section beneath them. Are you running vista? There was a bug we fixed related to vista changing the way it fonts are rendered. I believe we fixed it after we locked beta.

Yes, I am using Vista. It also prints that way too. In Portrait mode, Religion is the last skill displayed and printed.

Also on Landscape, thievery is partially cut off.

The character sheet info is cut off on the right hand side in regular portrait printing and cut off on the right side with landscape printing. The power cards seem to print fine in portrait mode but again are cut off on the left hand side in landscape mode.

Two questions about the layout.
First, will there be a function to save the characters sheet so we can print them using our own printer options? When I go to print options there are no features available like "Center document to page" or other features that are normaly available with my printer. I figure the printing problems I am having might be resolved with some simple options that are currently not available through the print menue in the Character Generator.

Second, will the powers cards be moveable eventually by unlocking the pannels or through some other feature? I prefer to have all my cards on a sheet instead of having to cut them out and try not to lose them, and it would be nice to be able to select the cards that will be printed on any one power card sheet I print.

Thanks for all the hard work and keep it up!
