#1 buzzerkerdorf Feb 10, 2009 22:55:29	Today I downloaded the Character Builder, glad to be rid of the limited beta version. As I began entering my warlock, I leveled him to level 4 first just to see the new features. Pleased, I then leveled him to his actual level of 15. Paragon...now this is exciting...or so I thought. Our last adventure had our DM throwing a twist and the party became aware of a hidden familial trait--Dhampyr. We were enlisted to track the head of a coven as he became deranged or so say his power hungry daughter, a fiendish vampire herself. As we made the appropriate adjustments of swapping out feats, etc., we quickly learned of the uniqueness offered by this player option. Yet, as I entered the information into character builder and worked with the skills, feats, and race specific traits, I found that they were not all there. Will this be remedied soon? How long do I have to wait? I have taken the creative approach and input the information on the the create own feature. However, I could not add miscellaneous data, i.e. +2 to perception, darkvision, and the speed increase. Still, after this arduous task (still a newbie to the program), I felt disappointed because nothing transferred over to allow for manual adjustments. I will make do, and resort to the old fashioned approach of penciling it in...how archaic! Anxiously awaiting a response from the powers to be or at least guidance from others as to how to use all the options. GAME ON!
#2 dalzig Feb 10, 2009 23:10:31	Material featured in Dragon or Dungeon is scheduled to be released a month after the compilation on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Dragon 161 (thus the Dhampyr stuff) should be included in the update on February 24.
