Recommendations of illegal sources for commercial software is against the CoC as it promotes copyright violation. That said - if you're looking for a good commercial title, based on D&D 3.x, the Neverwinter Nights series will almost certainly meet your needs. You should be able to find that software at your local Best Buy or other software store. It looks like the Neverwinter Nights 2 line is also available on Direct2Drive. (link) |

| #4mudbunnyOct 21, 2008 10:04:58 | Based on 3.5, I am not sure that there are many out. Neverwinter Nights 2 is your best bet. If you don't mind earlier editions, try Baldurs Gate I and II, the IceWind Dale series, and, if you can get a hold of it, Planescape:Torment. |

| #6mudbunnyOct 21, 2008 10:55:43 | I am not sure when it will be open, but you should try Good Old Games for some older games. |
| #7mudbunnyOct 21, 2008 10:56:15 | Oh yeah, I am going to move this to the Digital D&D forum. |
| #8asmodeusloreOct 21, 2008 19:53:20 | Are you looking for a computer game that uses the D&D game as a basis, or are you actually looking to find a group of people and actually play D&D over the internet? |
| #9zetta216Oct 23, 2008 21:44:36 | O sorry for the uneducated statement then. I wouldn't even know how to do that stuff. and my computer is too weak for neverwinter nights... got it, installed it... didn't work. I'm looking for a game that I can play Though if someone needs a member for an online group feel free to ask me. (3.5 prefered) Baldur's gate and the sequel are fun, played them for xbox... i think. champions of norrath for ps2 are good too. Is the icewind dale one based off salvatore's stuff? if so what is it called? |

Many websites (including Wizards) have forums where you can browse or post for people looking to play a 3.5 game. |
